Two New Resources on MMS Introduction and Scale-up from MMS TAG

30 September 2024 – Two new complementary resources from the Global MMS in Pregnancy Technical Advisory Group (MMS TAG) hosted by the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies (HMHB) Consortium are now available:

• Resource paper for practitioners: Using Implementation Science to Support the Introduction and Scale-up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation. It is also available in French, Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese.

• FAQ for national decision-makers: Introducing and Scaling Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation Programming: Frequently Asked Questions for Decision-makers.Translations are available in French, Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese.

As countries consider taking steps to introduce and scale MMS programming, these documents offer practical guidance and valuable recommendations, with timely country examples to inform and inspire action.
