10 Aug 2021 – A series of monthly ‘Maternal Nutrition Technical E-Dialogues’ are being organized on the theme – Strengthening Maternal Nutrition Assessment and Services in Antenatal Care in India. Jointly organized by the National Institute of Nutrition located in Hyderabad, India, the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and UNICEF, India, these dialogues bring experts in maternal health, nutrition, obstetrics and gynaecology together on a common platform to learn about the latest information on maternal nutrition interventions, strategies and innovations.
Topics
These technical e-dialogues commenced in January and will continue till the end of the year. Topics such as “Maternal Thinness”, “Maternal Obesity”, “Women’s groups for Maternal Nutrition”, “Maternal Mental Well-Being”, “Maternal Anemia”, “Maternal Diets and Counselling” and the “FIGO Nutrition Checklist” have been covered so far with leading experts from India and around the world.
