4 June 2024 – HMHB is thrilled to announce its next Coffee and Chai Chat with Emily Mates, Maternal Nutrition Specialist at UNICEF, and Philip James, Senior Technical Associate, Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN) on 19 June at 9 AM ET | 3 PM CET | 6:30 PM IST. This 45-minute will focus on accelerating multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) in countries as part of strengthened antenatal care services (ANC) in humanitarian settings and beyond.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Acceleration Plan on Maternal Nutrition by UNICEF and partners as well as ENN’s new report on MMS in emergencies and ask questions in real-time. This virtual chat is part of a series of informal chats organized to connect global and national experts with those working in the field of maternal health and nutrition. This platform provides practitioners, particularly those working at the national level the chance to learn about the latest evidence, knowledge, and information on MMS and other maternal nutrition interventions and interact with experts directly.
