In resource‐constrained settings, pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls are particularly vulnerable to undernutrition. Micronutrient‐fortified balanced energy protein (BEP) supplementation may be provided to boost maternal nutritional status and improve birth and infant outcomes. We conducted a scoping review of the published literature to determine the impact of BEP and other related nutrition interventions that provided fortified food or cash along with a minimum of 3 micronutrients on maternal, birth, and infant/child outcomes in low‐ and middle‐ income countries.
