23 February 2022 – Today, the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Consortium held its first-ever Annual Meeting for members virtually. This meeting was organized to strengthen the relationship between members, the Steering Committee, and the Secretariat, share HMHB’s progress in 2021, and discuss selected MMS-related technical topics. This meeting also aimed to engage Consortium members regarding HMHB’s priorities and actions in 2022.
The first part of the meeting included technical presentations by experts in maternal nutrition followed by a roundtable discussion with the panelists. The second part consisted of a panel discussion on members’ priorities and contributions to 2022 collective action, which would help shape HMHB’s action plan for 2022. Over 95 members attended the meeting for a fruitful discussion.
